We provide contract research services to the pharmaceutical
industry. We use rodent models to predict the efficacy of experimental compounds, especially for CNS diseases, and to predict
CNS side effects for any therapeutic class.
The two principal scientists, James L. Howard, Ph.D., and Gerald T. Pollard,
Ph.D., were research pharmacologists with a major pharmaceutical company for 21 years. In 1995, we established Howard Associates
in Research Triangle Park, NC. James L. Howard is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology, North Carolina State
University.
